While the election of a new president and a motion regarding a 3.5 million Euro government grants scheme for inter-county players topped the agenda at the recent GAA Congress the NACB delegation were on a special mission to challenge a motion that, if passed, would significantly reduce the number of Irish sanction players allowed to play with NACB clubs

After much interest in the game of hurling at the Arizona Irish Festival where we had an autographed Clare jersey plus an autographed jersey from the winning leinster Inter-pro team 2006 and an autographed football from Paul 'pillar' Caffery for raffle and this years St. Patricks Day parade, The Phoenix Gaels have decided to start a hurling club so far numbers have been excellent and recruitment of players has went really well.
