GAA Club Websites

Does your club or division still not have a website? Do you have a website but have no way of updating the contents? If the answer to any of these questions is 'yes,' then you should have a look at the new Content Management System provided by Croke Park. This has already been used by several NACB clubs to great effect.

How it Works

Instead of having special software on a computer owned by an IT expert, club officials can go to a password-protected website containing online forms. These forms can be used to submit content to the club site through the club official's web browser. All edits made through these forms appear on the website instantly.

All that is required is a basic knowledge of how to use a computer and how to use the internet. More complicated tasks require some support, but the basic editing of content (such as club contact details, results, and training schedules) is fairly easy.

How to Get This Working for Your Club

  1. Visit this page at Croke Park's website and read the documentation

  2. Send an email to site-request@gaa.ie with the subject “Site Request”. You will need to specify your club's name, location, and colours. If you have a logo then you should send that as an attachment.

  3. You will receive an email within a few days containing the address of your new website, the address of the Content Management page, and the username and password required to get editing.

  4. Once you've built up your site and added all the content, you can start publicising your club's website address on all posters and flyers that you put out.

  5. Send an email to pro@nagaa.org informing the NACB PRO of your new website so that we can add a link to it from your club listing on this website.

And that's it! If you need any help or have any further questions, contact the NACB PRO at pro@nagaa.org for assistance.
